Perth-based digital transformation company Silverhorse Technologies has accomplished two significant international milestones, by achieving ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification.

ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that governs quality management systems, while ISO/IEC 27001:2013 directs information security management system standards.

“These certifications reflect Silverhorse’s commitment to excellence,” said Silverhorse CEO Raymond Weeda.

“We strive to deliver excellence with everything we do and this certification signals trust in the quality of our systems, our expertise and our people.”

The scope of the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 encompasses all Silverhorse networks, IT systems, client production environments, data and devices.

“With cyber security threats on the rise globally, clients can have every confidence that Silverhorse has the most stringent controls in place to protect their sensitive information and intellectual property,” said Mr Weeda.

Whilst ISO 9001:2015 certification is well recognised and more widely achieved than ISO/IEC 27001:2013, Silverhorse sought to demonstrate to clients the world-class data security measures implemented across the business.

Consultants Webb Project Services was engaged to assist Silverhorse with the development of its management systems and processes, and played an instrumental role in getting Silverhorse ready for certification. The Perth-based company has extensive experience in assisting businesses to attain certification to various Australian and international standards and developing integrated management systems.

Both companies worked together closely to develop the Silverhorse quality and information security management systems in line with the requirements of the two standards.

“Achieving ISO certification is no small feat; limited only to those companies which comply with the most stringent security and management protocols,” said Webb Project Services director and principal consultant Paola Webb.

Silverhorse management said it was excited to continue to deliver exceptional service to the businesses of Perth, Australia and beyond.

“Silverhorse Technologies is on a mission to bring the transformative benefits of digitalisation to large-scale infrastructure projects and assets,” Mr Weeda said.

“We are committed to delivering work to the highest standard and this certification validates this.”

Silverhorse is one of Australia’s leading digital transformation specialists featuring clients such as oil and gas giant Woodside and the AUD$16.8 billion WestConnex project in its portfolio.
